EVTA is a vocational training network comprised of members from 12 European countries, representing training organisations, public employment services and regional authorities. EVTA's members manage approximately 2000 regional and local training centers, employ 50,000 trainers and train over 1,000,000 per year. The development of exchanges, the implementation of joint projects among its member organisations in pedagogical and scientific fields and to be a major actor in the European vocational training, educational and employment sector, while contributing to the competitiveness of Europe and improving the VET offer, so as to ensure quality training for the market.
In 2012, EVTA has set up the "EVTA ecosystem". This ecosystem consists of 4 pillars: education, employment, innovation, entrepreneurship. The character of an ecosystem is that it is a dynamic system and all the different elements can be seen separately, but they are stronger when they are interrelated with each other.
EVTA role in the proect is about the set-up of a strategy of dissemination/information about the project activities and outcomes troughout Europe. Tommaso Grimaldi will be responsible in this project to create the commitment with the silent partners and other stakeholders from outside the network.
